Bella took carefully the card Nessie handed her and admired it, dazed, speechless for brief moments. It was beautiful, but what was even more meaningful was that her daughter had done it for her... Once again, one full and complete happiness filled her face and Bella found herself giggling along with her daughter.
"More than that, sweetie, love it." She corrected warmly, and smiled pleaded when Renesmee hugged back.
She felt Nessie's hand touch lightly her check and, for brief seconds, Bella's eyes meet her daughters pondering on her silent question. Bella breathed deeply, allowing herself to be filled by the sweet scent of her daughter, and started playing with Nessie's long hair.
"Mmm, as far as I know I believe they're at home..." She relayed thoughtful and one soft grin crossed her face when a familiar pixie-like face appeared on her thoughts. "However I'm positive Alice went shopping, thought the reason why I have no clue."
Bella fell silent and, then, one idea occurred and she looked up to Edward with a innocent look on her face. "You don't happen to know what Alice was planning, would you?"

Renesmee frowned slightly and asked, "Can we go see them?" She glanced between her mother and her father. She really wanted to see her family. Then she touched Bella's cheek again and showed her Jacob's face. Where was he? Would he come see them for christmas? And then she showed her Alice's face. She liked it when Alice to her shopping with her. They got to try on all sorts of pretty clothes and Alice always bought her at least one pretty outfit.
And then she showed her the faces of her Grandpa and Billy and Sue and Seth and Leah. Wasn't christmas a time for family? The question was plain in her thoughts.

Edward smirked, lying. "As far as I know, Alice is not planning anything. He kept his eyes away from Bella's because the moment they touched, he would as always, blurt out the truth. She had a weird spell over him, but he would gladly succumb to any magic she had. Her beauty itself, was intoxicating to him, but he did his best to avoid the topic. "would you like to go find them?" He asked, crouching down the Renesmee

Jacob always used to say Edward was such a bad liar and know she understood why. She couldn't read minds, that was true, but she knew that smirk quite well... If it wasn't suspicious enough already for him to start avoiding her gaze. He knew what Alice was up to and he wasn't telling her, but she wasn't going to give up that easily.
Bella watched Edward crouching down the Renesmee as well, and one soft smile touched her lips once she listened her husband talking with her daughter. It was rather funny, actually, watching him trying to avoid the previous topic and she found herself coughing in a attempt to try and hide her amused chuckle.
"For me sounds like an amazing idea, sweetie." She agreed smiling warmly at her daughter. "Let's go find them. Perhaps, if you want, I can even challenge uncle Emmett to do arm wrestling..."Bella added winking.
It had been two years since she had been turned, but her newborn strength was still as powerful as on the first day. Or at least that twas what Bella believed, taking in consideration Emmett couldn't still beat her, a fact that pleaded her secretly.
Bella's thoughts were interrupted when she felt, once again, Nessie's warm hand touch her cold check and heard her worries about Jacob. Her silent questions, wondering if he would come to see her... She simply smiled and caressed her daughter's check in return.
"I don't know, but he will come to see you..." Bella assured Nessie, comforting her. "If not, I would myself go back for him and threat kicking his butt." She added smiling amused at the idea of Jacob being afraid of her.
It was impossible, he rarely took her seriously, besides Bella doubted he would miss the opportunity to visit Renesmee in Christmas. Aware the closeness between her and Edward, she looked at him, straight into his eyes and flashed him the most sweetest smile possible.
"You know what Alice is up to..." She brought back the topic accusing, still smiling, and she kissed lightly Nessie's forehead. " What you think Nessie... Is dad hiding something from us?" She asked her daughter, winking.

Renesmee giggled as she thought of all her mother's arm wrestling matches with uncle Emmett. She loved to watch her mother beat him every time. Then she frowned as her mother talked of hurting Jacob. She couldn't do that. Jacob was hers.
She giggled as her mother said that Daddy was keeping secrets. "But Momma, Daddy never hides things from you." She said it very matter of factly. But she knew Alice was always up to something.

Little she could do to avoid the her musical laughter when she saw Nessie giggling amused. Like light and musical bells, her soft laugh joined the the wonderful music that was her daughters giggle and Bella found her fingers playing, again, with Nessie's hair.
Of course, she knew Nessie loved to see Emmett being beaten by her, she had showed that already once. Emmett, however, wasn't that pleaded with that fact... Bella felt her body tense, lightly, once she recognized the small hint of concern on her daughter's beautiful face.
"Don't worry, Renesmee, I wouldn't ever hurt Jacob." Bella assured softly, looking straight in Nessie's chocolate brown eyes, her eyes, and hugged her carefully "I Promise."
"But Momma, Daddy never hides things from you." Nessie replayed her, in a rather matter of fact way, which amused Bella and made her stare thoughtfully again toward Edward smiling.
"Not this time, Nessie." Bella replayed amused. "Alice is up to something, which isn't that unusual, but he read her... He knows." She pointed out, smiling widely at him.
Let's see how you will get away from this one, Mr Cullen. Bella thought, and looked back at Nessie. "Mmm, sweetie... Have you ever wondered if daddy has tickles?" Bella asked in a rather distracted way.
One plan was starting to appear on her thoughts, but Bella did her best to avoid her playful grin. Edward could not read her thoughts, but he still could understand too many things on her eyes and she was afraid she could give her plan away... too soon.

Edward lifted Renesmee with him as he stood up. He looked at Bella for a moment. "what are you thinking?" He asked, wondering if she was thinking of a way to get him back. Even though she was beign tricky, she was absolutley beautiful, and he couldn't help but stare at her. He stood, there looking into her eyes. Her thoughts were there, just finding them was always tricky. Finally, he turned his head, looking at Renesmee. "Don't tickle me." He said, smiling.

Renesmee smiled mischievously and then did exactly what Edward had asked her not to do. She started to tickle him. She giggled as he picked her up and she continued to tickle him. She looked into his eyes and asked, "Daddy, what is Aunt Alice planning?" She touched his cheek and reinforced her question with Bella's dislike for surprises.

She had tried, she really had tried it quite hard, but was soon as Bella noticed Edward's look in her direction and ask that... One grin, one wide and secretive grin lightened her face. Bella gazed amazed at him, dazed, and took a step closer to him.
"That I love you." She admitted, smiling. It wasn't, exactly the same thoughts she had been holding when he had made her the question, but right now that she was too distracted by his cativating eyes, feeling herself melt inside... Right now it was the truth.
What was I really thinking, actually? How could he keep dazzling her that way it was a mystery, but once she heard Edward talking with Renesmee... That was enough to lighten her memory again. Tickling him until he would admit the truth, that was her plan.
And it was working, because as soon as the words Left his perfect full lips, they produce quite the opposite effect on their daughter. Chuckling, Bella joined her daughter in the not difficult but surely amusing task.
"Daddy, what is Aunt Alice planning?"
Bella stopped abruptly of tickling him, and looked back at him seriously. Did she want to put Edward in trouble only because she was rather afraid of what might be Alice's plans? Yes, in trouble because she knew if he would say something that was supposed to be a secret... Alice wouldn't forget that easily, even though she was the loveliest person on the world. No, she wouldn't ever want that...
"You don't have to tell it only because of me." Bella said warmly and moved her golden eyes from his dazzling stare. "Perhaps it's better not put daddy in trouble with aunt Alice, what you think Nessie." She asked turning her attention again to her daughter.
"Of course, we could just tickle him for the fun of it." Bella added winking at her daughter.

Renesmee smiled hugely and continued to tickle Edward. "That's a good idea, Momma." She said to Bella. She was slightly disappointed that she didn't get to know what Alice was planning. But she liked surprises, unlike her mother. She giggled as she and her mother continued to tickle her father. It was fun.

Edward giggled loudly and sweetly as Renesmee continued to tickle him, his laugh musical, and lovely. "Nessie, why don't we go find Aunt Alice, and ask her?" He said, lifting her back to floor. "We could make a race out of it." He whispered, making a mischiefous grin. "First to find her wins."

"Ok!" Nessie smiled. She leapt forward and was out of the door without another word. She stopped and let her sense of smell range out. She caught wiffs of old trails as she searched for a fresh one. Finally she smiled hugely as she found a scent of Alice that was only a few minutes old. She glanced back at her parents once before tearing off into the forest.
